“ I absolutely loved Michal's Mentoring group. I have been painting for just over 3 years using intuition, I hadn't studied or looked at artists outside of our Art circles, so when this opportunity to join Michals Mentoring Group popped up I said yes with no hesitation and I'm so glad I did!

I gained a sense of fun around painting, some quick playful exercises opened up a new world as did studying and discussing work from different artists. Playing with some basic color mixing was wonderful, amazing how many shades of a hue you can get combining just 2 colors and white. Through the weeks we went into depth with the use of light, dark and shadow which I found invaluable and know I will always use.

Sitting here writing I'm realising the wealth of what has been gifted during these weeks and just to say it never felt pressured or like 'school' there was a natural flow for me, so much so I wasn't sure if anything was going in!

A huge thing for me was the bonding of our circle, I felt safe and found my voice developed further, which for me reflects confidence to the canvas. During these times having this space has been just wonderful, it has at on occasion been challenging, feeling the need to want to 'do' and 'complete' at least one painting but the circle and Michal are so supportive and it became another discovery about myself and my relationship with painting. ”
