In The Jungle
The explosion of plants and of life is indescribable.
We were embraced and nourished by medicinal, jungle waters in a warm pool. I felt I was floating, wrapped in the arms of a great mother who took away all my sorrow and stress.
Oh well, it is a jungle, after all, the bugs here ate the dish soap as well and the bed bugs enjoyed our company as well.
Last night we heard scary stories about tigers.
Luckily it was the last night, until then I walked around at night fearless.
I can understand who is Pachamama even more now.

Medicine Man
I went to see Don Alberto, a healer from the jungle. He pressed a few points on my arm and shoulders and I passed out.
He said I'm under a lot of stress, carrying the sorrows of the world on my back and it hurts my health, my joints, and more.... Oh yes, and the computer, he said...tooooo much and to much is in the head.
Gave me big bottles of herbal tea and a 15-day diet.
It was pleasant to pass out on his dusty wooden floor because Viviana, Avishi and Nissim smeared me with jungle perfumes, and touched and massaged me. I didn't feel like getting up, it felt so good to let it all go 😄
The Jungle people we met, like Don Alberto, were so sweet and loving to us. There are also tribes here that shoot deadly arrows at those who approach, mainly in Grigos-foreigners.
We felt safe with Johan, our host in the jungle.
This journey needs to be digested. Meeting with people with such a different mentality, "Tranquillo" is teaching me a lot.
Don Alberto said: "Those who live in the jungle need only salt, matches, and a machete and the jungle takes care of the rest. Food, water, and medicine."
It's a shame that the younger generation is not interested in learning from him, he has vast knowledge about thousands of medicinal plants. He will be very happy to pass the knowledge on to anyone who is interested and will not abuse the power of this knowledge.
